Here's what our students and communities have to say about Ocasio's True Martial Arts

Leadership Dragon 5 yrs old

Thomas' Listening skills have improved. He also has shown more confidence on the soccer field and at school.

He is not shy w/new people. He will get up and introduce himself.

He has become stronger and more tone.

He talks about earning his Black Belt all the time. He is very focused and only wants to do karate. He knows this something he has to work hard for and is very ready to do it.

I have 2 boys ages 5 and 6 taking little dragon classes. I have seen a lot of progress with my boys since they have been taking classes. Ocasio’s school is the best investment we have made for our boys future.
A little about me I am 50 years old. I was in the US Army in the early 80s and injured my back from a fall and had to have a disk surgery. I have had back problems for 25 years and had another surgery 3 years ago. Never in a million years did I think I would be taking Karate classes.
So a few months ago I decided to give it a try and sure enough I am hooked. Since I have started I have lost about 16 lbs and I feel great. The classes are challenging and the instructors keep it fun. Ocasio’s True Martial Arts is a first class-family-friendly school.
It's never too late to start, but it's always too early to quit.

Dear Kyoshi,
When we enrolled our son in martial arts we had no idea exactly how diverse the teachings are.  We have watched him grow not only in physical strength but also in endurance, stamina, patience and tolerance.  He is learning that he can be a leader in the community simply by his own actions.  He is learning that fighting is not the first course of action, but the last.   The teachers at his school have noticed marked improvements in his attitude and willingness to continue even when before he would have reached his limit.  I was informed by the physical therapist at his school that martial arts was the best form of therapy for him, both physically and mentally.
Upon noticing the improvements in our son we enrolled our daughter.  We have seen her outlook on life change.  Where she was pessimistic before she is now optimistic, where she would have given up before she now pushes on with greater enthusiasm.
My husband and I feel that enrolling our children in your school was one of the best gifts we have ever given them.
Sincerely,
        Steve & Chris Goudin

Deshi,
You did an absolutely wonderful job with my students.  You immediately had everyone engaged and eager to listen.  I was quite impressed with how quickly you remembered their names.  My students showed great respect for you and each other.  Your directions were clear and everyone was happy to follow them.  I would say my students loved their time spent with you.  They were even wondering if you were coming back.
